Other young Filipinos are making their mark on the world stage.
Two Filipino children, Tricia May Pleños and Andre Brent Bryle Soon, are seen above speaking before top officials of the United Nations including UN Secretary Ban Ki Moon and other dignitaries about their personal contributions to disaster avoidance and risk management. The two 14-year olds are both from the Camotes Islands of Cebu province.
